RESPONSE signs local employment partnership

RESPONSE offers a number of initiatives to help people back into the workplace.

Leading customer contact centre outsourcer, RESPONSE has recently signed up to the government’s Local Employment Partnership (LEP), which aims to help long-term unemployed people back into work.

Launched last year, the partnership was created to provide opportunities and support for people who may have been out of the job market for some time or those seeking first time employment such as single parents and other carer groups.

Operating across all of the company’s sites, the partnership will see RESPONSE offer a number of initiatives to help potential employees back into the workplace.  All applicants referred through the scheme are guaranteed a first-stage telephone based interview with RESPONSE.

Rosaleen Gillespie, Human Resources Director for RESPONSE said:

“Lack of opportunity is an issue that affects a significant number of people in Scotland. With positive encouragement and motivational training, RESPONSE believes that people can be greatly assisted in taking that first difficult step back into the workplace, thereby unlocking their personal potential.

“At RESPONSE we have a dedicated resourcing team on hand to support our new recruits and to help build their confidence and expertise.   As a leading contact centre outsourcer, we also offer successful LEP candidates the chance to develop a career by working on client accounts with some of UK’s best known brands.  We are delighted to be partnering Jobcentre Plus on this forward-thinking initiative.”
