VoIP
RESPONSE was an early adopter of VoIP.
VoIP is a standard for managing voice calls between two or more network connection points. Integrated into mainstream Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) platforms, it combines with fixed wire telephony connections to support true 'Agent Anywhere' capabilities, allowing agents to move seamlessly between centres while continuing to manage calls on behalf of the same client.
RESPONSE utilises VoIP-enabled Avaya ACD platforms within two data centres which support our four contact centre sites within the Glasgow area. These two ACD's are connected to our primary network carriers, NTL and THUS, providing supplier diversity and resilience capabilities.
The ACD's offer fixed line telephony within the data centres and VoIP across our infrastructure’s data networks. This flexible network routing and 'Agent Anywhere' VoIP capabilities provide RESPONSE with the ability to optimise service location and provide business continuity capability.
No matter what your requirements, RESPONSE has the capabilities to provide your services from any of our operational facilities. Our highly scalable Enterprise Class Avaya ACD's with VoIP allow RESPONSE to react quickly to the demand for additional capacity across multiple sites.
