Customer Advisor / Full time

How long have you worked at RESPONSE?

3 years.

What training and development have you done at RESPONSE?

I have trained as an advisor in five different projects. I’ve also learned about the integral workings of the company and had the opportunity to take on a seconded Team Manager position.

How has your career developed since you first started?

I have come from being a part-time advisor, during university, through to a full-time advisor, and also handled a seconded Team Manager position. I am aiming to go forward in either a management or IT position.

Tell us about your current role and what you enjoy about it?

I enjoy the customer service aspect of being an advisor. Giving good customer service is something which has been lost in Britain and I feel I can make people able to trust me and, by extension, the client.

What do you like best about RESPONSE as an employer?

The people. The people are some of the most genuine and helpful people you will ever meet.

What's been your proudest/most rewarding moment at RESPONSE?

Becoming a seconded Team Manager, this shows the level of trust that has been placed in me to not only manage myself but others.

What do you do when you're not working?

I am a software developer and graphic designer by trade. I tend to take on freelance projects to fill my time. I am also planning my wedding for 2012. I love horror novels and read quite a few in my spare time.

Share with us your guilty secret...go on...

Zombies! I love zombie moves, books & games.

What is your top life tip?

Look for things that make you smile, regardless of how small they are. The more little things you can find, the more you smile and the big smiles will find their way back to you.
