How long have you worked at RESPONSE?

Over 2 years.

What training and development have you done at RESPONSE?

I am currently undertaking management activities and tasks in order to develop myself to becoming a manager within the business.

How has your career developed since you first started?

I initially started as a New Business Advisor for one of our financial services clients. I now undertake administrative tasks and deal with all mid-term adjustments on all policies we hold.

Tell us about your current role?

We deal with professional individuals who are looking to insure either themselves or their businesses against potential claims. We deal with a variety of industries and have a wide range of policies, some of which require alternate systems and procedures.

What do you like best about RESPONSE as an employer?

Working on an insurance campaign means I never work a weekend, or work past 7pm.

What's been your proudest/most rewarding moment at RESPONSE?

I recently raised money for Yorkhill Children’s hospital. Myself and several others completed a sponsored firewalk. I wasn’t too comfortable with the training which consisted of an empowering speech. This made me cringe slightly especially when undertaking the 'Peter Pan' pose, however as this was for a good cause I put aside the embarrassment and completed the walk with feet still intact.

What do you do when you're not working?

I enjoy watching football and having the odd pint at weekends, however I spend the majority of my free time in the gym.
