What training and development have you done at RESPONSE?

I received training as a Customer Service Advisor on the Student Loans campaign when I first started back in August 2009. I also received training when I moved to the Sky Customer services campaign in November 2009. Since becoming a Finance Assistant, I have been trained to use three accountancy software packages, as well as several specific functions of my role, such as preparing bank reconciliations.

Tell us about your current role and what you enjoy about it?

My current role as a Finance Assistant is quite demanding and fast paced. Nevertheless, I really enjoy what I’m doing because I find it very interesting. What I enjoy about my current role the most is the friendly atmosphere within the finance department as well as the ever present opportunity to learn new things.

What do you like best about RESPONSE as an employer?

There are always opportunities open to all employees to move within the business. I took advantage of one such opportunity myself.

What's been your proudest/most rewarding moment at RESPONSE?

When my achievements at University were recognised by my line manager, the Finance Director, and the Managing Director.

What do you do when you're not working?

I play tennis, basketball, or the occasional five-a-side football. I read books, and catch-up with friends.

What is your top work tip?

Anything worth doing at all is worth doing well.
