Customers of Airdrie Savings Bank are now able to access their accounts online thanks to a new internet banking solution provided by Glasgow-based software company, Inisoft.
Launched by Airdrie Savings Bank on the occasion of its 175th Anniversary in January, the service is already proving popular with customers.
The web-based solution, Tranexus, provides a full range of internet banking capabilities in a highly secure package. Tranexus has been structured to allow the rapid deployment of additional capabilities as financial institutions wish to make those available to their clients.
The solution is based upon Inisoft’s existing, well proven technology and utilises the latest internet capabilities. It also provides a range of security features, such as an on-screen keyboard, which protects both the bank and its customers.
Tranexus also incorporates mapping software, which allows the bank to monitor the general locations from which logins are occurring. The bank has already witnessed a higher than anticipated volume of logins from overseas locations which it has been quickly able to verify as being of a legitimate nature. These both underline the system security as well as the demand for services from a bank that, until recently, would have required the majority of such services to be conducted within its branch network.
John Goodram, Professional Services Manager, for Inisoft commented: “We were delighted to be selected by Airdrie Savings Bank to support its move into online banking. The Bank acknowledged our creativity and commitment to deliver a solution on budget and with the flexibility to grow with its evolving requirements.
“Tranexus has enabled Airdrie Savings Bank to deliver an easy to use, convenient online facility that supports its outstanding reputation as a customer friendly bank. “The Tranexus user interface is highly configurable and allowed us to rapidly create a customised solution that fitted perfectly within the Bank’s branding and updated website”.
Jim Lindsay, General Manager for Airdrie Savings Bank said: “Working closely with Inisoft to implement our internet banking capability has been an extremely positive and straight forward experience.
“In rapidly customising and deploying Tranexus, they have delivered a system which is not only extremely easy to use and convenient for our customers but has a high level of security that gives our customers real peace of mind. The Bank is now open for online business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are delighted with the results and are particularly excited to launch this service in our 175th anniversary year.”
