Student Loans and RESPONSE win Best Outsourcing Partnership.

A partnership between two Glasgow companies has been recognised at the Contact Centre World Awards.

The Student Loans Company entered the prestigious ‘Best Outsourcing Partnership’ award for Europe, the Middle East and Africa region, nominating its close and long-established relationship with RESPONSE as a key supplier. At a recent ceremony in London, they jointly scooped the top place.

The partnership will go to the world finals in Las Vegas in November.

RESPONSE has worked with the Student Loans Company (SLC) for over five years to provide a back-up service SLC’s contact centres in Scotland, Wales and the North of England. The award recognises the continuous communication and mutual respect between the two companies during their partnership.

The Contact Centre World Awards are highly-regarded in the industry, recognising and celebrating innovation and best practice among hundreds of nominations from across the globe. The awards provide companies with an opportunity to benchmark against the best in the industry. This reward is particularly special as it was the client, SLC, who nominated their partnership with RESPONSE for the award.

David Wallace, RESPONSE Chief Executive said:

“This is a fantastic result for all at RESPONSE and the Student Loans Company. We were thrilled to have been shortlisted for the award, but to win it is an absolute honour which demonstrates our commitment to providing our clients with a continuously high standard of service.

“Glasgow is considered in some quarters as the customer contact centre capital of Europe, and this demonstrates that we are recruiting and training some of the best staff in the business.

“Our relationship with SLC is based upon continuous communication, mutual respect, trust and being able to adapt to our client’s needs quickly and effectively. I would like to thank them for nominating our partnership for this award and we look forward to working with SLC for a long time to come. “

Martin Herbert, Student Loans Company Customer Services Director added: “I am delighted with the result and this award will see us build on the already strong and efficient relationship we have with RESPONSE.”
