RESPONSE is proud to announce that we have been named as a finalist at this year’s National Business Awards. The National Business Awards, in partnership with Orange, is the UK’s premier cross-industry Awards programme.

Over 150 of Britain’s most innovative and sustainable public and private sector businesses have been shortlisted across 15 categories. RESPONSE, one of Glasgow’s largest private sector employers is up against 9 other companies for the title of Transformational Change of the Year winner, which will be announced at the glittering awards ceremony taking place on Tuesday 8 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The Transformational Change award has been designed to recognise an organisation operating in the public or private sector that has successfully refocused, restructured or strategically re-aligned to deliver more for less, become more competitive and achieve more sustainable growth.

The re-structured leadership team, led by managing director Brian Bannatyne,  has drawn upon expertise from both in and outside the contact centre sector. This has provided a unique blend of perspectives on the challenges of delivering outstanding customer experiences and helped reshape the business strategy to focus on building rewarding relationships with employees, clients and clients’ customers. This significant change has helped to challenge the historic perceptions associated with the call centre industry and improve the performance of the company.

The awards, which are now in their tenth year will host Britain’s leading entrepreneurs and business leaders to celebrate outstanding business achievement across public and private sector organisations of all shapes and sizes.

In addition to being shortlisted in the National Business Awards, RESPONSE’s Scottish Power team has also been announced as a finalist in the Contact Centre Team of the Year category at this year’s CCA Excellence Awards. Winners will be announced at the CCA Gala Dinner & Excellence Awards Ceremony also in November.

Brian Bannatyne, managing director of RESPONSE said: “Reaching the final stages of the both these prestigious awards is a great honour as we have been up against stiff competition and have had to demonstrate our strengths in innovation, customer service excellence and delivery of solutions.

“This is a great opportunity for the team to highlight the work we have been doing and to show that our new vision has been instrumental to the change that RESPONSE has undergone, especially during these challenging economic times.”
