RESPONSE Group acquires leading software services company Inisoft.
RESPONSE, one of the UK’s largest customer contact management groups, confirmed today (Tuesday, June 10) it has acquired leading software-services company Inisoft for an undisclosed sum.
Established in 1990 in Glasgow and run since 2001 by Kevin Clark and Douglas McLoughlan, Inisoft will be merged with RESPONSE’s own Software and Professional Services team. The division will continue to trade under the Inisoft brand.
Headquartered in Glasgow and operating across five sites in the UK, employing 2300 people, RESPONSE also comprises a core Contact Centre Division and Credit Management Division. It is a key part of Murray International Holdings, a multi-faceted business founded by Sir David Murray 35 years ago, employing 4000 people worldwide and with interests in metals, property, asset management, outsourced services and football.
RESPONSE Chief Executive David Wallace said: “Our strategy is to continue to grow our core business while diversifying into new markets to strengthen our offering. Inisoft is a successful and highly-regarded business, with a very impressive portfolio of clients, and by integrating it with our Professional Services team we will become a significant player in the software-services industry.
“We will also now be able to further develop our own award-winning, web-enabled software application RELATIS, which is utilised by clients ranging from the AA to the American Embassy, and to integrate it with Inisoft’s exciting product range,”
He added: “I am delighted to announce that Kevin and Douglas will continue as directors and shareholders in the new division.”
Kevin Clark will become CEO of RESPONSE’s new Software Services Division, which will be based in Inisoft’s current base at Granite House in Stockwell Street, Glasgow, while Douglas McLoughlan will be Operations Director.
“The opportunity to become part of such a fast-growing, ambitious and successful group was too good to miss,” said Kevin. “We have enjoyed building Inisoft into a successful company and there is so much more for us to achieve as a key part of the Murray family of companies,” he explained.
“Another attraction was RESPONSE’s wide-ranging portfolio of blue-chip clients. We are looking to the future with great confidence and offering new and existing clients a unique range of products and services.”
