Iain Banks appointed new Business Development Manager

RESPONSE has appointed Iain Banks as Business Development Manager to secure contracts with new clients seeking a competitive advantage through its innovative, customer-focused solutions.

Iain, an award-winning call centre manager, has over 14 years’ experience in outsourced and in-house contact centre operations. Before joining RESPONSE, Iain worked as Strategic Relationship Director for a leading technology provider, spearheading the development of its UK infrastructure and building successful commercial partnerships.

Previously, Iain was Director, Strategic Accounts, for an outsourced contact centre solutions provider.  His role developed from a UK to pan-European remit and he was responsible for growing the business and developing an effective commercial model to the benefit of the firm and its customers.  In 2008 he was awarded the prestigious Call Centre Manager of the Year award by the Call Centre Management Association (CCMA).

Kevin Clark, Business Development Director at RESPONSE, said: “Iain brings an exceptional blend of skills to our business development activities. His considerable operational experience, combined with his account development background, means that our prospective clients can be confident that we delivers what he promises.”

Iain added: “RESPONSE has implemented a wholesale transformation over the past 18 months thanks to its clear strategic direction that focuses on delivering value through innovation and driving the company’s future growth.

“The investment in its people, operational capability and delivery has created a very powerful proposition and the reaction from the market has been superb. I’m excited to be able to take the lead role in bringing the RESPONSE offering to a wide range of prospective clients.”
