RESPONSE Industry Champion crowned

RESPONSE's Robbie Wilson is crowned Industry Champion at the European Call Centre Awards 2007.

A customer contact centre employee from Glasgow has been honoured as one of the best in Europe at this year’s European Call Centre Awards (ECC).

Robbie Wilson, 42, who works for RESPONSE, walked away with the European ‘Industry Champion’ award, after impressing the industry with his positive attitude and commitment to the sector.

One of the most highly-respected accolades in the industry, the ECC awards recognise and celebrate best practice from across Europe. The ‘Industry Champion’ award is particularly special as it is the only award voted for by the industry’s CCF Magazine readership.

Robbie, who works as a Team Administrator at RESPONSE’s customer contact centre in Glasgow, commented;

“It was a real honour to have even been nominated, so I am absolutely delighted to have won the award, especially when all the nominees were of such a high standard. It is a great feeling to be recognised, but I think a lot of it is down to having the opportunity to challenge myself and push new ideas forward, and that’s certainly been the case during my time with RESPONSE.”

Since joining RESPONSE in December 2004, Robbie’s responsibilities as Team Administrator have seen him at the forefront of building a bank of intelligence which allows RESPONSE to effectively manage campaign data, analyse sales patterns and identify target demographics.

David Wallace, RESPONSE Chief Executive said:

“We are thrilled that Robbie has won this award, he definitely deserves it. He is always an absolute pleasure to work with and is highly regarded by all his colleagues”.

RESPONSE also received a Commendation for the ‘Best Outsourcing Partner’ for its work with the AA, one of the UK’s largest motoring organisations.
