RESPONSE SHOWCASE TALENT FOR CHARITY
RESPONSE staged its first ever staff awards ceremony, recognising the hard work employees have delivered over the last year.
Seventeen Eighteen awards were up for grabs at the glamorous event staged in Glasgow’s Thistle Hotel and over £2,500 was raised for RESPONSE’s chosen charity Yorkhill Children’s Foundation. The money raised will help pay for in-patient simultaneous EEG/Video telemetry equipment, which is used to help diagnose children with epilepsy, one of the most common and serious neurological childhood disorders.
Award winning Scottish comedian and presenter Des Clarke hosted the event and he was joined by players from the Glasgow Warriors, who RESPONSE officially sponsor. Scottish internationalists Johnnie Beattie and Ritchie Gray took time out of their training schedules to present some of the awards.
One of the most hotly contested awards, Best Team, was awarded to John Thompson & Team from Hiscox. Iain MacDonald picked up the award for Best in Innovation which recognises those individuals within RESPONSE who strive to be the best and relentlessly pursue great ideas which deliver success. The Client Award is presented to someone who has received outstanding feedback and recognition from one of our clients and was presented to David Ramage, Operations Manager for The US Embassy.
Brian Bannatyne, Managing Director for RESPONSE said: “It is vital we recognise and reward those who have helped us drive the business forward over the course of the last year. This has proven to be an extremely successful event and what’s more we have raised much needed funds for Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.
“We look forward to building upon this success again next year, allowing more of our staff to take centre stage and be commended for their efforts behind the scenes.”
