Would you like to be given the chance to shine? At RESPONSE we operate a fair and open recruitment process that gives you lots of opportunity to demonstrate your skills and personality. We welcome applications from all age groups, and a professional attitude is much more important than formal qualifications.

“The best thing about this role is that it’s a totally customer service based role and I just love helping customers.” Tabasum, Customer Service Advisor

How to apply

Our recruitment process is relatively straight forward and consists of 4 stages:

1. Application

Once you have found a job vacancy at RESPONSE which is right for you, contact us with a copy of your CV or call our Recruitment Team on 0141 272 1112.

2. Telephone interview

If you are shortlisted, our Recruitment Team will contact you to take part in a short telephone interview. This will be an opportunity for you to tell us more about yourself and to answer some questions based around your work experience. Your suitability for the role will be evaluated against criteria such as tone of voice, enthusiasm and communication skills. If you are successful after this stage, you will be invited along to one of our assessment sessions.

3. Assessment centre

At the Assessment centre, the type of activities and questions vary depending upon the role you apply for, however a typical Assessment Centre will involve:

  • an introduction to RESPONSE
  • group exercises
  • role play - relevant to the role you have applied for
  • numerical/spelling test
  • a competency based interview

Some management and support vacancies may also require additional activities such as preparing an individual presentation and/or psychometric testing.

4. Pre-employment screening

Once you have successfully passed our interview process there are a few identity, security, and credit checks that we need to carry out.
