We are currently looking to recruit a Compliance Manager.

The successful candidate will participate in the ongoing compliance programme to ensure they meet business, legal and regulatory requirements including FSA, PCI and industry regulatory policies and procedures (including the Murray Group) and Data Protection. 

Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct compliance monitoring reviews, including field visits and desk-based monitoring
  • To develop and manage the ongoing maintenance of compliance monitoring frameworks and toolkits
  • To co-ordinate the collation, aggregation and analysis of regulatory data to provide a risk basis for the development of the monitoring plan.
  • Assist in all aspects of the monitoring and audit administration
  • Collation and analysis of business MI and selection of monitoring samples
  • Appropriate feedback to business on conclusion of visits or audits
  • Tracking of monitoring actions with appropriate escalation, including the reporting of breaches and creation and delivery of corrective action plans
  • Ensure contracted security controls as outlined within client contracts
  • Raise awareness and provide support and guidance to staff within the organisation on relevant compliance requirements and standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Capability

  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive material discreetly.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills a must (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Presentation skills – PowerPoint
  • Project management experience
  • Strong team skills and demonstrated ability to present and disseminate information in a concise and easily understandable way.
  • Strong influencing skills with effective implementation experience in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to ‘push back’ in a diplomatic and productive fashion, building consensus and partnering with teams.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, the selected candidate must have strong analytical, communication, management and organisational skills.
